1) Belarus: The Belarus Air-force just forced down a civilian jet, owned by Irish company RyanAir. European governments are calling it a State Hijacking. On board was a 26 yr old Belarus political dissident and journalist named Roman Protase-Vich. He was hauled off the plane and arrested in Minsk, Belarus. Can a state legally use Military Jets to bring down a dissident?

Israel and Palestine: US Sec of State Tony Blinken was in Jerusalem yesterday meeting w/ all parties to the dispute over recent Gaza rocket attacks. He stated in a press conference that the US is committed to a two-state solution to provide independent states for Jewish and Israeli citizens. Is this a change from the Trump Administration policy?
3) Wuhan Institute of Virology: The WIV is a ultra high level bio-safety lab in Wuhan, China, where the COVID outbreak first occurred. The Chinese have since Jan 2020 vigorously denied that the lab might have been the source of the original outbreak. But Wall Street Journal this week issued a series of articles suggesting that the lab leak idea may be more than just a 'conspiracy theory'. What do you think?
4) Burma/ Myanmar: The leader of the political opposition Aung San Suu Kyi, appeared in court along w/ President Win Myint. She had not been seen since the military coup took place on Feb 1st, which overthrew her as State Counselor/Prime Minister. The coup was motivated by Ms. Suu Kyi's strong showing in the recent election where she won over 80 percent of votes, which would have given her another 5 yr term. Instead, she is looking at a 2 yr prison term. What's going on?
